Year 6 Residential trip to Rookesbury Park
Adventures at Rookesbury Park
Some of the Year 6 children visited Rookesbury Park for a three day residential, where they challenged their skills in kayaking, rock climbing, abseiling, raft building, a blind-folded obstacle course and outdoor survival techniques. They capped off an awesome trip with solving a mystery during a game of cluedo. It was an action packed three day trip through which the year 6 pupils exhibited great CREAM (Can-do, Resilience, Expectations, Aspiration & Motivation) characteristics and had a load of fun! The children stayed in a grade II listed mansion with 500 acres of forestry and lakes and views across the Meon Valley Countryside. In addition to the fantastic surroundings, Rookesbury boasts a range of brilliant facilities, including a lake, an indoor sports hall, sports courts and an outdoor pool.
You can view some of their adventures in the slide show above.
