Understanding the world and Exploring Design

Children in Nursery have been developing their understanding of the the world.  They have been  talking about some of the different forms of transport they have observed.   Children used various materials to make their transport models.  They  Joined construction pieces together to build and balance their different models.

Children have been learning  how to operate simple equipment, e.g. use a remote control to control technological toys.  They played with the voice changer and they showed their skill in making toys work by pressing buttons to achieve various sound effects.
