On Monday the 4th of February Five-Elms choir travelled by coach to the O2 in London.  Some of our choir members hadn't been to the O2 before and were quite overwhelmed by its sheer enormity.

We all found our seats and rehearsals began.  Some of us felt a bit nervous as we were so high up!  The concert began at 7.00 in the evening and the arena was full with proud parents and special guests watching 7,805 children all performing many different songs.  It is the largest choir event in the world and we felt so privileged to be part of it.

The children behaved impeccably and thoroughly enjoyed performing all the songs.  We arrived back at school at 10.30pm and some of the children felt very tired the next day!

Everybody involved the organisation of the trip was incredibly proud of our choir and we hope we have given the children a memory to treasure.
